The Travelogue Appreciation Society is a club that is open to anyone. Dues are paid once at sign-up - a mere 30 dollars. Upon signing up, the new member receives his or her official membership card. At two points in the summer of 2011, tentatively the beginning of August and the beginning of September, the member will receive a package – real honest-to-goodness mail – delivered to their home filled with wonderful souvenirs including but not limited to:
handmade books by Mr. Ramming and Ms. Bishop, specimens of flora and fauna, field recordings, recipes from roadside diners, cocktail ideas from swanky hotel bars, and much more documenting these United States.
In short, this is a mail-order for anyone who appreciates the handmade, care packages, and souvenirs, and/or for anyone who is generally awesome.
