back-tracking part 13….california part 4.. SLEEPING AT MARINAS…
Morro bay, avila beach, castroville…little coastal towns along the way.. there we discovered marina parking lots.. with people going in and out all night no one looks at you twice as its assumed you are getting on the next boat out… which you can do if you want.. there are usually bathrooms and free showers, and if there’s a pier there tends to also be a seafood restaurant at the end of it which serves the fresh catch and always, booze.
